Fucking Young! # 10

It was clear from the beginning: our 10th issue had to be extraordinary. Sex sells. Sex impacts. Sex is life. It’s the reason we’re all here. I’d say that it’s even more than that. It’s what makes us enjoy life.

In fashion, sex is ever present, especially in controversial and later censured campaigns. It’s there in the details, cuts and fabrics of a collection, in asexuality and in gender fluidity. And apart from the obvious connotations that the theme brings, sex is also knowing who we are. The thing is that a lack of sexual freedom generates frustration.

The world of art and fashion has an important part to play here. We have to express ourselves freely and without fear of losing clientele, receiving pressure and adhering to that which is politically correct. We have to do it without lying to survive, without fear of losing our jobs. We have the task of fighting against bullying, against conservative associations, politicians and archaic religious customs, so that the youth of tomorrow never feel like they stand alone.
